Known as the coolest cops on TV in the late 60\’ and early 70\’s undercover detectives \”Pete, Link & Julie\”, were \”Solid\” every week!

Sadly, Peggy Lipton, star of the groundbreaking  TV show “The Mod Squad” and “Twin Peaks\” series died of cancer over the weekend.  She was 72.

The Mod Squad made Lipton an \”it girl\” and fashion icon, in her 2005 memoir \”Breathing Out\” she said she wasn\’t a fan of the attention.
