Vivian Campbell is suggesting that Queen\’s Brian May will induct Def Leppard into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on March 29. Let\’s follow the clues. In a recent interview Campbell said,\”It\’s a gentleman who\’s been a big fan of the band and a friend of the band for many decades.\” Could we get a little bit more revealing clue here???
Campbell also described the mystery man as being \”really smart.\” an astrophysicist who has worked with NASA on their New Horizons project. Ding Ding – That sounds like the bio of now OSCAR winner Brian May.
For Campbell, the induction is a validation for his band after years of being overlooked by the critics. He went on to say that \” Getting into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame is cool but getting the biggest-EVER fan vote means as much, if not more, to us.\”
This summer, Def Leppard will begin their second residency in Las Vegas, playing 12 dates at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino between Aug. 14 and Sept. 7.
