What Does The “Jay” in Jaywalking Actually Mean?

\”BeLIEve It or Not\”…….It\’s a segment you can catch every weekday right around 1:25pm with Steve Stuart.

How it works:  Stu will give you three random facts.  Two of these facts will be true, one will be false.  Your job is to \”spot\” the fake one!  Stu\’s not telling…..here\’s today\’s facts:

  1.  The \”jay\” in jaywalking is a 1920\’s slang term for idiot.  So, jaywalking technically means idiot walking.
  2.  Only 12 people have ever walked on the moon, and only one is still alive and currently 82 years old.
  3.  The University of Alabama\’s football practice field is located near a few apartment complexes, and people who live in those apartments have a clause in their lease stating they can\’t watch the practices.

Can you spot the fake statement?  Again, we\’re not telling……..
