Turkey Run State Park – Marshall
This is by far one of the most gorgeous state parks around, with tons of huge rock formations to explore, waterfalls to take in and more!

Adding this to my list of MUST VISIT places – it just looks SO cool!
Rose Island – Charlestown
Rose Island is what’s left of a former, amusement park in Charlestown, which is a small town in Southern Indiana. Now you can explore what’s left of the park, from stone structures to an eerily beautiful massive swimming pool.
There are four sections to explore, lots of fun for the family!
Fun Fact… This is the oldest restaurant in Indiana! President Abraham Lincoln once feasted and rested in the famous Lincoln Room.
It’s our own version of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory.. right here in Indiana!
Harry and Bud’s – Terre Haute
The exterior of this European restaurant barely looks inhabitable, much less impressive. But, once you’re inside – you will be amazed. I have friends who have eaten here and rave about it! There’s no menu, and how it works is – you can either call and book a reservation – or drive by, and if the front light is on, come on in. The chef will ask you what you like – and prepare a special meal just for you!
