As my wife Jenni and I prepare to welcome our first child next year, we’re practicing on our dogs. I never thought I’d be THAT guy who dresses up his dog for Halloween! Is there a support group for people who do this?!? Actually, I blame Jenni. We took the dogs to the pet store and she sits down in an isle and starts putting different costumes on them. Other customers were actually stopping and watching this little impromptu fashion show! I’m surprised we didn’t get kicked out of the store…

Our Puggle, Gunther, is suppose to be a spider. But one young trick-or-treater asked, “Is your dog a penguin?”. Costume fail~

Our terrier, Oscar, clearly drew the short straw, getting a woolly worm costume that was, “two sizes two small”. Hey, it was marked down 60% off!

Front yard turned into our makeshift graveyard, along with our spooky Scarecrow prop. Not as many trick-or-treaters as we had planned for. Looks like I’ll be eating Reese’s Peanut Butter cups til May~
